1. Edit Text Messages

Entry: Message area → text input box

  1. Open a group chat or direct chat.
  2. Type your message in the text input box.
  3. Use the top toolbar as needed for emoji, clip, text formatting, file, or schedule shortcuts.
  4. Review the content and get ready to send it.

Success Criteria

  • On-screen result: The text you want to send appears in the input box.
  • What you can do next: You can keep editing the content or send the message directly.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not open a specific conversation first, you may not type in the correct chat window.
  • Environment note: Some supporting capabilities require an internet connection or a signed-in account.

2. Send Text Messages

Entry: Message area → Send button

  1. Type the message you want to send in the text input box.
  2. Click the Send button in the lower-right corner, or press Enter to send it.
  3. Check whether the message appears in the current chat history.

Success Criteria

  • On-screen result: The message appears in the current conversation history.
  • What you can do next: You can send another message or right-click the sent message for more actions.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Sending before confirming the current conversation can send the message to the wrong chat.
  • Environment note: Sending online messages requires a working internet connection.

3. Right-Click Text Messages

Entry: Sent text message → right-click menu

  1. Find a sent text message in the chat history.
  2. Right-click the message to open the action menu.
  3. Choose Copy, Reply, Forward, Multi-select, Pin, Favorite, Urgent, Add to To Do, Add to Schedule, Delete, Translate, Search Online, AI Search, or Recall as needed.
  4. Continue with the selected action.

Success Criteria

  • On-screen result: The right-click menu opens and shows the available actions.
  • What you can do next: The selected action takes effect, such as replying, pinning, translating, or adding the message to To Do.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Opening the menu on the wrong message can apply the action to the wrong content.
