Last updated:July 23, 2026

When using Group Chat Search, the most common questions fall into 3 areas: search scope, missing results, and visibility limits; this section includes 3 frequent questions and a short glossary.

FAQ

  1. Group Chat Search is mainly used to find group chats by group name.
  2. Global search can cover a wider range of items, such as contacts, chat history, and files.
  3. If your goal is to find a group directly, switching to the Group Chats tab gives you a more focused result set.

Why can’t I find the group chat I want?

  1. Check whether the group-name keyword is correct.
  2. Try a shorter or more common keyword and search again.
  3. If the group still does not appear, confirm whether it is within your organization visibility scope, and contact the group owner or administrator if needed.

Can I search for a group chat that I already left?

  1. A group chat that you already left usually does not continue to appear in your current search results.
  2. If you need to rejoin it, contact the group owner or the relevant administrator.
  3. After access is restored, search again with the group-name keyword.
