When using Global Search, the most common questions fall into 3 areas: search scope, filtering, and result display; this section answers 3 common questions.

Why can I see only part of the search results?

  1. Make sure you are signed in with an account that can access your organization collaboration content.
  2. Check whether your keyword is too broad or too specific.
  3. Review the grouped result types on the search page to confirm which category your target belongs to.
  4. If there are many chat results, keep narrowing them with filters.

Can I filter chat-history search results by conditions?

  1. Open the Global Search page.
  2. Enter a keyword and review the chat-related results.
  3. Click the filter option at the top right.
  4. Set conditions such as sender and send time, then review the filtered results.

How do I open the full Global Search page?

  1. Click the search bar at the top of the WPS window.
  2. Select Search More from the drop-down menu.
  3. After the search page opens, continue entering your keyword in the search box.
