When using Share Methods, common questions usually involve choosing the right sharing entry, changing permissions, and managing collaboration; this section includes 3 frequent questions and a glossary.
FAQ
What is the difference between the two sharing methods?
- Sharing from the cloud document list does not require you to open the file first, so it works well when you want to find a file in the list and start sharing quickly.
- Sharing from inside a document works well when you are already editing and want to invite collaborators immediately.
- Both methods can generate a cloud document link and let you continue adjusting link permissions.
Can I change or remove permissions after sharing?
- Open the sharing dialog for the document again.
- Change the current access mode in Link permissions, or open Advanced settings for more options.
- If you need to stop the current sharing setup, update or remove access in later collaboration management.
Why can’t I see a shareable link to copy?
- First confirm that you clicked Enable collaboration to get a cloud document link for the current file.
- Make sure your device is online and that you are signed in with an available WPS account.
- After collaboration is enabled successfully, return to the sharing dialog and copy the link.
