1. Open the More menu

Entry path: Chat compose bar → More button

  1. Open a WPS collaboration one-to-one chat.
  2. In the toolbar of the compose bar at the bottom, click the ... button.
  3. Check the expanded More panel above the compose bar.
  4. Confirm the available actions for the current chat type: one-to-one chats show Personal Contact Card, while group chats show Group Poll, Write Email, and Personal Contact Card.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the More panel opens above the compose bar.
  • Next action available: you can continue to choose Personal Contact Card, Group Poll, or Write Email.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if you are not inside a chat, the More button in the compose bar is not available.

2. Send a personal contact card

Entry path: More → Personal Contact Card

  1. Click the ... button in the compose bar to open More.
  2. Click Personal Contact Card.
  3. In the contact picker, use the search box to find a person, or choose from the Recent or Contacts area.
  4. Confirm the selected contacts in the panel.
  5. Click Send Contact Card.
  6. Check the sent contact card in the chat.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: a contact card appears in the chat window.
  • Next action available: the recipient can open the card to view more contact details.

3. Group chat only: create a group poll

Entry path: More → Group Poll

  1. Open a group chat.
  2. Click the ... button in the compose bar to open More.
  3. Click Group Poll.
  4. Enter the poll topic and options in the poll creation window.
  5. Publish the poll.
  6. Check the poll card in the group chat and wait for responses.

4. Write an email to everyone in the group

Entry path: More → Write Email → Everyone

  1. Open a group chat.
  2. Click the ... button to open More.
  3. Hover over Write Email to open the submenu.
  4. Click Everyone.
  5. In the mail editor, confirm that group members have been added as recipients.
  6. Enter the subject and message, then send the email.

  • Interface result: the mail editor opens and the recipient list is filled with group members.
  • Next action available: you can continue editing the subject and message before sending.

5. Write an email to selected recipients

Entry path: More → Write Email → Select Recipients

  1. Open a group chat.
  2. Click the ... button to open More.
  3. Hover over Write Email to open the submenu.
  4. Click Select Recipients.
  5. In the member picker, select the group members who should receive the email.
  6. Confirm the selection, then enter the subject and message in the mail editor and send the email.
