1. Open the Global Search page

Entry: Top global search bar input box → Search More

  1. Click the search bar at the top left.
  2. In the drop-down menu, click Search More.
  3. After the search page opens, confirm that the default tab is Comprehensive.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A separate search page is open.
  • You can continue: You can enter keywords in the search box.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you stay only in the drop-down menu and do not click Search More, the full search page does not open.
  • Environment note: If you are not signed in or the network is unavailable, organization content may not display completely.

2. Search matching organization content

Entry: Search box on the search page

  1. Open the Global Search page first.
  2. Enter a keyword in the search box.
  3. Review the matching results returned by the system.
  4. Browse grouped results such as users, groups, messages, documents, and chat history.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Search results are grouped by type.
  • You can continue: You can open a target result or revise the keyword and search again.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the keyword is too broad, the result list may be long. Use a more specific name or content term when possible.
  • Environment note: The search scope depends on the organization content your current account can access.

3. Filter chat history search results

Entry: Top right of the search page → Filter

  1. Complete one keyword search on the search page.
  2. Open the related chat history results.
  3. Click Filter at the top right.
  4. Narrow the result range by sender or sending time.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The chat history result range becomes narrower.
  • You can continue: You can review message results that match your conditions more closely.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not run a keyword search first, filters cannot narrow the result set effectively.
  • Environment note: Filtering is mainly used for chat history results that have already been returned.
