Entry path: File message card → Download button

  1. Find the file message card sent in the chat.
  2. Hover over the file card.
  3. Click Download in the toolbar that appears.
  4. If you see a security warning for the file, confirm that the source is trusted before continuing.

Success Criteria

  • On-screen result: The file starts downloading and you can see download progress or a saved result.
  • Next action available: You can open the downloaded file from a local folder.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not hover over the file card, the download button may not appear.

2. Download Images

Entry path: Image message → Right-click menu → Download

  1. Find the image message you want to save.
  2. Right-click the image message.
  3. Select Download from the menu.
  4. Choose a local save location and complete the save.

  • Next action available: You can open the image in an image viewer or another app.
