1. Open the document feature entry
Entry path: Left sidebar → Document icon
- Open the WPS collaboration workspace.
- Find the Document icon in the left sidebar. The icon appears as a folder.
- Click the Document icon to enter the cloud document workspace.
- After opening it, the top area shows the current company name, the left side shows the navigation panel, and the right side shows document content.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The cloud document workspace opens successfully.
- What you can do next: You can continue to review recent files, starred items, shared documents, cloud files, team documents, or knowledge-base content.
Tips While Using
- Sign in with the relevant company or team account first so the related collaboration resources can appear.
- If the network is unstable, the document list may load more slowly.
2. View recently accessed documents
Entry path: Document workspace → Recent
- Open the document workspace.
- In the left navigation area, find Recent or the area for recently accessed files.
- Click that area to display the list of recently accessed documents.
- Select the file you want and open it.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The right content area shows recently accessed documents.
- What you can do next: You can open the target file directly and continue working.
Tips While Using
- The Recent list is intended for quick return to recent files and is not the same as the full document directory.
3. View shared and team documents
Entry path: Document workspace → Shared Documents / Team Documents / Knowledge Base
- Open the document workspace.
- In the left navigation area, select Shared Documents, Team Documents, or Knowledge Base.
- Switch between categories as needed to browse the related resources.
- Click the target document to open it for viewing or editing.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The right content area shows the document list for the selected category.
- What you can do next: You can open shared files or team materials and continue collaboration.
Tips While Using
- What you can see in different company spaces depends on your account permissions.
- If a category is empty, it usually means there is no accessible content there yet or nothing has been shared to that area.
4. Review document list status details
Entry path: Document workspace → Document list
- Open any document list page.
- Review the information columns for each file in the right-side list.
- Confirm the file location, creator, and last updated time.
- Use that information to decide whether to open the file.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: You can see file location, creator, and update time in the list.
- What you can do next: You can use those details to choose a more suitable document to open.
Tips While Using
- The update time helps you judge whether a file is current, but you should still confirm with the file content when needed.
