1. Open the Application Diagnostics page

Entry path: WPS Teams main window → profile photo at the lower-left corner → Settings → Application Diagnostics

  1. In the WPS Teams main window, click your profile photo area at the lower-left corner.
  2. In the pop-up menu, click Settings.
  3. In the left panel of the Settings page, click Application Diagnostics.
  4. Confirm that the page shows the Network Diagnostics and Usage Logs sections.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Application Diagnostics page opens.
  • Next action available: You can continue with network diagnostics, log upload, or log export.

Tips While Using

  • If you do not see Application Diagnostics, first confirm that you are in the WPS Teams client settings page.

2. Run network diagnostics

Entry path: Settings → Application Diagnostics → Network Diagnostics → Start Diagnostics

  1. Open the Application Diagnostics page and find the Network Diagnostics section.
  2. Review the on-page note to confirm that you are troubleshooting a connection issue.
  3. Click Start Diagnostics.
  4. Wait while the client completes the check automatically.
  5. Review the diagnostic result and the suggested solution.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The page displays a diagnostic result.
  • Next action available: You can adjust your network environment or run the check again.

Tips While Using

  • This feature is especially useful when the client shows a message such as Connecting to service.
  • Keep the network environment stable during the check and avoid switching networks repeatedly.

3. Upload usage logs

Entry path: Settings → Application Diagnostics → Usage Logs → Upload

  1. On the Application Diagnostics page, find the Usage Logs section.
  2. Read the log note and confirm that you are reporting a feature issue or an app crash.
  3. If needed, enter an issue description in the text box, up to 200 characters.
  4. Click Upload to submit the logs.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The logs start uploading or the submission completes.
  • Next action available: You can add more issue details or wait for follow-up handling.

Tips While Using

  • The issue description is optional, but a clearer description helps with follow-up troubleshooting.
  • The log note states that account information and chat history are not included.

4. Export usage logs locally

Entry path: Settings → Application Diagnostics → Usage Logs → Export Locally

  1. In the Usage Logs section, click Export Locally.
  2. Wait for the client to save the log file to the local path.
  3. Open the save location and confirm that the log file has been created.
  4. Review it if needed, or share it with support staff through another channel.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A log file appears in the local folder.
  • Next action available: You can archive, compress, or share the file.

Tips While Using

  • Before exporting, make sure your local disk has available space.
  • If you plan to share the logs, it helps to record the issue time and symptoms together with the file.
