1. Open the Schedule page

Entry: Left sidebar → Calendar

  1. Open the main WPS collaboration workspace.
  2. Click the Calendar tab in the left sidebar.
  3. After the calendar page opens, review the highlighted current date.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The calendar page is open and the current date is highlighted.
  • What you can do next: You can review schedules, create an event, or switch views.

Tips While Using

  • Common issue: If you still see another collaboration page, make sure you clicked the Calendar tab in the left sidebar.
  • Environment note: Shared content usually needs a network connection to load.

2. Add an event

Entry: Calendar page → + Add Schedule

  1. On the calendar page, click the + Add Schedule button.
  2. In the editing panel, enter the event title.
  3. Set the time, reminder, and other details.
  4. Save the event.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The new event appears in the related date or time position.
  • What you can do next: You can continue editing, review details, or switch views to confirm the arrangement.

Tips While Using

  • Common issue: If time details are incomplete, confirm the start and end time before saving.
  • Permission note: Only the event creator can edit an event they created.

3. Quickly add an event

Entry: Calendar date cell → + icon

  1. Move the pointer over the target date cell.
  2. When the + icon appears in the upper-right corner of the cell, click it.
  3. Create a new event directly under that date.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new event record appears under the selected date.
  • What you can do next: You can add more details or continue creating other events.

Tips While Using

  • Common issue: If the + icon does not appear, keep the pointer over the target date area first.

4. Switch views

Entry: Top toolbar on the calendar page → View switcher

  1. Find the view switcher at the top of the calendar page.
  2. Select Day, Week, Month, or Split View as needed.
  3. To return to the current date, click Today.
  4. To move to an earlier or later period, click the < or > arrows.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The calendar refreshes in the selected view.
  • What you can do next: You can review, create, or filter schedule items in the current view.

Tips While Using

  • Common issue: Switching views only changes how the schedule is displayed and does not change the event content itself.

5. Filter calendars

Entry: Left panel → My Calendars

  1. In the Schedule page, find the My Calendars area on the left.
  2. Select the calendars you want to show.
  3. Clear the calendars you do not want to show.
  4. Review personal calendars, to-dos, or shared calendars as needed.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Only the selected calendar content remains visible.
  • What you can do next: You can continue reviewing shared schedules or restore other calendars.

Tips While Using

  • Common issue: If you cannot see another person's schedule, confirm that the calendar has been shared with you or that you subscribed to it.
