1. Remove members from a group chat

Entry path: Group chat window → top-right ... icon → Remove icon in the chat settings panel

1. Open the target group chat window and click the ... icon in the top-right corner to open the chat settings panel.
2. In the member avatar row of the chat settings panel, find and click the Remove icon to open the Select group members to remove window.
3. In the current member list on the left, select the members that you want to remove.
4. Confirm that the selected members appear in the panel on the right, then click OK to finish the removal.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: The selected members no longer appear in the current member list.
• What you can do next: The group chat still works normally for sending messages and viewing members.
• No side effect: Other members who were not selected remain in the group chat.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: Confirming too quickly after selecting the wrong person. Check the selected list on the right before you continue.
• Permissions: In typical group management settings, only the group owner or admins can remove members. Regular members usually do not see the Remove button.
• Result: Removed members leave the group chat.
