1. Open the Message Notifications settings page

Entry path: WPS Teams main window → profile picture at the lower left → Settings → Message Notifications

  1. Open the WPS Teams main window.
  2. Click the profile picture area at the lower left.
  3. Click Settings in the pop-up menu.
  4. In the left-side settings list, select Message Notifications.
  5. Review the sound, pop-up, and notification style options on the right side.

2. Set message sounds

Entry path: Settings → Message Notifications

  2. Find the New message sound setting.

  4. Find the Call and meeting invitation sound setting.
  5. Turn the option on or off to control whether calls or meeting invitations play a sound.

  4. Select Hide message details to show only a general message reminder in the pop-up.

5. Set the in-app notification open behavior

Entry path: Settings → Message Notifications → In-app notification open behavior

  1. Open the Message Notifications settings page.
  2. Find the In-app notification open behavior area.
  3. Select Chat panel to open the message in the chat panel after clicking a notification.
  4. Select Main app window to switch to the WPS Teams main window after clicking a notification.

6. Set notification behavior during calls and meetings

Entry path: Settings → Message Notifications → Turn off message pop-up notifications during calls and meetings

  1. Open the Message Notifications settings page.
  2. Find the Turn off message pop-up notifications during calls and meetings checkbox.
  3. Select it to stop showing message pop-up notifications during calls and meetings.
  4. Clear it to continue receiving message pop-up notifications during calls and meetings.
  5. In screen sharing or casting scenarios, notification display follows the current product behavior.
