1. Enter Multi-Select Mode
Entry: Right-click a message → Multi-select
- Open a chat conversation and right-click any message.
- Click Multi-select in the menu.
- Check whether a checkbox appears next to each message.
- Select the messages you want to merge and forward.

- Interface result: the chat window enters multi-select mode and checkboxes appear next to messages.
- Next action available: the bottom action bar is available for batch actions.

- Common mistake: if you only click a message instead of right-clicking it, the multi-select option may not appear.

2. Merge and Forward Messages
Entry: Bottom action bar → Merge and Forward
- In multi-select mode, finish selecting the messages you want to send.
- Check the bottom action bar.
- Click Merge and Forward.
- In the contact picker, choose the target person or group.
- Click Send to complete forwarding.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the contact picker opens and lets you choose a target conversation.
- Next action available: after sending, you can open the target conversation to review the result.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: confirm the target person or group before sending to avoid forwarding to the wrong conversation.
- Environment note: sending requires a network connection.
3. Confirm the Forwarded Result
Entry: Chat record card in the target conversation
- Open the target conversation where you just sent the merged content.
- Check whether a merged card appears with a title similar to “Chat history of xxx and xxx.”
- Click the card and confirm that each message detail can be opened.
- Check whether the message content, sender, and time information are complete.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: a chat record card appears in the target conversation.
- Next action available: recipients can open the card to review detailed messages.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if the network is unstable, the card may appear with a delay.
- Environment note: the recipient needs access to the conversation and must be able to load chat content normally.
