1. Open the Member Mute Management page

Entry path: Enterprise Admin Console → WPS Collaboration → Chat Message Settings → Member Mute Management → View Details

  1. Sign in to the Enterprise Admin Console.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click WPS Collaboration to expand the collaboration management menu.
  3. Click Chat Message Settings to open the settings page.
  4. Find Member Mute Management in the configuration list, then click View Details.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Member Mute Management page opens.
  • What you can do next: You can review the muted member list or continue to add members.

Tips While Using

  • Enterprise admin permissions are required.

2. Add a muted member

Entry path: Member Mute Management page → Add Member

  1. Open the Member Mute Management page.
  2. Click Add Member to open the member selection panel.
  3. Select the member you want to mute.
  4. After the member is added, that member can no longer speak in all collaborative chat conversations.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The selected member appears in the muted member list.
  • What you can do next: You can continue adding other members or return to the list to review the status.

  • Adding a member directly affects that member's speaking permissions across all collaborative chat conversations.
  • Confirm the member identity before saving the change.

3. Remove a muted member

Entry path: Member Mute Management page → Muted Member List → Remove

  1. Open the Member Mute Management page.
  2. Find the member you want to unmute in the muted member list.
  3. Click Remove.
  4. The member's speaking permission is restored.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The member no longer appears in the muted member list, or the status is updated.
  • What you can do next: The member can participate in collaborative chat again.

Tips While Using

  • Confirm that the selected member should regain speaking access before removal.
  • If the page does not refresh immediately, reopen the list and check again.
