How-to Guide
1. Open the Email Search page
Entry: Top global search bar → Search More
- Click the top-left search bar.
- In the drop-down menu, click Search More.
- Wait for the unified search page to open.
Success Criteria
- The search page opens successfully.
- Multiple search tabs are visible at the top of the page.
Tips While Using
- If you stay in the suggestion list, click Search More again to enter the full search page.
- Make sure your account is signed in before starting.
2. Switch to the Mail tab and search messages
Entry: Search page top tab bar → Mail
- Find the Mail tab at the top of the search page.
- Click Mail to switch the search scope.
- Enter a keyword in the search box.
- Review the results from the current signed-in mailbox.
Success Criteria
- The page is switched to the Mail search scope.
- Relevant email results appear after you enter a keyword.
Tips While Using
- If you do not switch to Mail, results may come from other content scopes.
- This feature is available only after a WPS Mail account has been configured.
3. Use filters to narrow results
Entry: Email Search page → Filter in the upper-right corner
- Run a keyword search first.
- Find Filter in the upper-right area of the page.
- Set the filter conditions you need.
- Review the narrowed results and continue locating the target message.
Success Criteria
- The result list becomes narrower after filtering.
- You can continue opening the target message or adjusting filters.
Tips While Using
- Broad keywords may return many results, so filters are helpful.
- Results are limited by the permissions of the current signed-in account.
