1. Open the Customize Workbench page
Entry path: Enterprise admin console → Left navigation → Customize Workbench
- Open the enterprise admin console.
- Click Customize Workbench in the left navigation.
- Review the four-step workflow on the page: Create Workbench, Configure Workbench, Publish Workbench, and Enable Workbench.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The Customize Workbench page opens and the four-step workflow is visible.
- Next action: You can create a new workbench or manage an existing one.
Tips While Using
- Permissions or membership: This feature has no membership restriction, but enterprise admin permissions are required.
- Environment limits: A network environment that can access the enterprise admin console is required.
2. Create a workbench
Entry path: Customize Workbench page → Create Workbench
- Click Create Workbench on the Customize Workbench page.
- Enter a workbench name in the dialog box. The name can contain up to 50 characters.
- Add visible members or departments to define the visibility scope.
- Select Desktop View or Mobile View to define where the workbench will appear.
- Click OK to finish creating the workbench.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The new workbench appears in the list.
- Next action: You can continue with configuration, publishing, and enabling.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the visibility scope is not set correctly, the intended members may not see the workbench.
- Environment limits: Confirm that members or departments can be selected before saving.
3. Set sorting management
Entry path: Customize Workbench page → Sorting Management
- Click Sorting Management.
- Select Allow employees to customize sorting if needed.
- Select Allow employees to hide workbenches if needed.
- Click OK to save the settings.

- Interface result: The sorting management settings are saved.
- Next action: Employees can adjust their workbench display according to the saved settings.

- Common mistake: Closing the window before saving prevents the settings from taking effect.
4. Configure general settings
Entry path: Customize Workbench page → General Settings
- Click General Settings.
- In the dialog box, choose Tab Switching or Drop-down Switching.
- Click OK to save the display mode.

- Interface result: The display mode for multiple workbenches is updated.

5. Publish a workbench

- Find the target workbench in the management list.
- Run the publish action so the current configuration becomes ready to enable.

6. Enable a workbench
Entry path: Customize Workbench page → Workbench management list → Enable action
- Confirm that the target workbench has already been published.
- Run the enable action in the workbench management list.
- Check whether the selected Desktop View or Mobile View matches the intended result.
- Confirm on the corresponding client that the workbench is visible to the target members.

- Interface result: The target workbench is visible on the intended client.
