1. Open the chat message settings page

Entry path: Enterprise Admin Console → WPS Collaboration → Chat Message Settings

  1. Sign in to the WPS 365 Admin Console.
  2. In the enterprise admin console, click WPS Collaboration to expand the collaboration management menu.
  3. Click Chat Message Settings to open the settings page.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The chat message settings page opens.
  • Next action available: You can review and adjust chat-related settings.

  • Permission requirement: Enterprise administrator permissions are required.

2. Turn on read/unread status indicators

Entry path: Chat Message Settings → Show read/unread status indicators for chat conversations

  1. Open the Chat Message Settings page first.
  2. Find the option named Show read/unread status indicators for chat conversations.
  3. Turn on the switch on the right.
  4. After it is enabled, sent messages in group chats and one-to-one chats show read/unread status indicators.
  5. At the same time, Webhook bot detail and profile pages add a history message list entry point, and only the Webhook bot owner can view it.
  6. If you want to stop using this feature, turn the switch off again.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The switch is turned on.
  • Next action available: Sent messages in group chats and one-to-one chats can show read/unread status, and bot owners can access the history message list entry point.
