1. Translate a Single Message

Entry: Chat window message right-click menu → Translate

  1. Open the collaboration chat window.
  2. Find the message you want to translate.
  3. Right-click the message.
  4. Click Translate in the pop-up menu.
  5. Wait for the system to recognize the source language and generate the translated result.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A translated result appears below the original message.
  • Next action available: You can continue to open more actions or switch languages.

Tips While Using

  • Environment note: An internet connection is required while using this feature.
  • Common mistake: If no specific message is selected, the related translation menu will not open.

2. View Translation Results and More Actions

Entry: Translation result area → ··· in the lower-right corner

  1. Complete the translation for a message.
  2. Check the translated text below the original message.
  3. Confirm that the result shows the AI-generated label.
  4. Click ··· in the lower-right corner of the translation result.
  5. Review the available actions.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: You can see options such as Copy, Regenerate, Cancel Translation, Switch Language, and Forward.
  • Next action available: You can continue processing the translated result as needed.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the translation has not been generated yet, the result action menu will not appear.

3. Switch the Target Language

Entry: Translation result area → ··· → Switch Language

  1. Translate a message first.
  2. Click ··· in the lower-right corner of the translated result.
  3. Select Switch Language.
  4. Choose a target language from the language list.
  5. Review the updated translation result.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The translated text changes to the newly selected target language.
  • Next action available: You can continue to copy, forward, or switch languages again.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If no translation result exists yet, there is nothing available to switch.

4. Regenerate or Cancel a Translation

Entry: Translation result area → ···

  1. Click ··· in the translated result area.
  2. Select Regenerate to get a new translation result, or select Cancel Translation to remove the current result.
  3. Check the interface to confirm that the action is complete.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new translation appears after Regenerate, or the translated result is removed after Cancel Translation.
  • Next action available: You can translate the original message again if needed.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: After canceling a translation, you need to run Translate again if you want to see the result later.

5. Copy or Forward a Translation Result

Entry: Translation result area → ···

  1. Click ··· in the lower-right corner of the translated result.
  2. Select Copy to copy the translated text to the clipboard, or select Forward to continue sending it.
  3. Paste the content or choose the forwarding target as needed.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: After Copy, the translated text can be pasted elsewhere; after Forward, you can continue the sending flow.
  • Next action available: You can keep the current translation result or use other result actions.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Before copying, confirm that the currently displayed result is the version in the target language you want.
