1. Translate an Email

Entry: Open the email you want to translate → right-click in the blank area of the email body → select Full Translation

  1. Open the email you want to translate.
  2. Right-click inside the email body area to open the context menu.
  3. Select Full Translation.
  4. Wait for the message content to be translated.
  5. After translation is complete, do any of the following as needed:
    1. Click View Original to return to the original email content.
    2. Click Settings to adjust the target translation language.
    3. Click the current language name to switch to Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Español (México), or another target language.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The email body is shown in translated content.
  • Next action available: You can view the original, open settings, or switch the target language.
  • No side effect: The original email content remains available at any time.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you right-click outside the email body area, the translation option may not appear.
  • Environment note: A stable network connection is required during translation.

2. Set a Default Translation Language

Entry: Mail page → top-right Settings icon → General Settings → Translate content to

  1. On the mail page, click the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
  2. In the left menu, select General Settings.
  3. Find the Translate content to option.
  4. Open the drop-down list and choose the default target language.
  5. Future translations will use this language by default.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Translate content to field shows the selected target language.
  • Next action available: The next email translation can use the default language directly.
  • No side effect: This changes the display language for future translations only and does not change the original email content.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not confirm the selected language, later translation results may not match your expectation.
