1. Pin a conversation
Entry path: Conversation list → Right-click the target conversation → Pin
- Find the conversation you want to pin in the left conversation list.
- Right-click the conversation.
- Click Pin in the pop-up menu.
- Check whether the conversation moves to the pinned area at the top of the sidebar.
- Confirm that a pin icon appears next to the conversation name.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The target conversation appears in the top area of the sidebar.
- What you can do next: You can click the conversation directly to open the chat.
- No unwanted effect: This action does not change other members' conversation lists.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Right-click the target conversation in the conversation list, not inside the chat content area.
- Environment note: If collaboration conversations do not load normally, check your network and sign-in status first.
2. Unpin a conversation
Entry path: Conversation list → Right-click a pinned conversation → Unpin
- Find the pinned conversation in the left conversation list.
- Use the pin icon next to the conversation name to confirm that it is currently pinned.
- Right-click the conversation.
- Click Unpin in the pop-up menu.
- Check whether the conversation is removed from the top pinned area and returns to its original order.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The target conversation no longer appears in the top pinned area.
- What you can do next: The conversation can still be opened and used from the regular list.
- No unwanted effect: Unpinning does not delete the conversation content.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Confirm that the target conversation is already pinned before you try to unpin it.
- Environment note: After unpinning, the conversation position follows the original list sorting rules.
