1. Start a one-on-one voice call
Entry: Message editor area → Call button
- Open a WPS collaboration one-on-one chat.
- Click the Call button in the message editor toolbar.
- In the pop-up options, click Call again.
- Wait for the system to establish the voice call and open the call window.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The call window opens and the meeting panel is visible.
- Next actions available: You can continue using controls such as microphone, speaker, participants, and chat.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Clicking the first Call button but not confirming the second Call option, so the call does not actually start.
- Environment note: A stable internet connection is required.
2. Use the in-call control panel
Entry: Call window → Bottom toolbar
- After the call is established, enter the meeting panel.
- Check the main display area on the left and confirm that the current speaker avatar is shown normally.
- Check the participant area on the right and confirm the member list and host label.
- Use the bottom toolbar as needed, including Full Screen, Layout, Microphone, Speaker, Camera, Record, Share, End Meeting, Participants, Chat, Meeting Notes, and More.
- If meeting order needs to be managed, the host can click Mute All in the Participants panel.

- Interface result: The bottom toolbar responds normally and the participant list can be expanded.

3. Handle a device without a microphone and join by scanning
Entry: System prompt dialog → Scan to join
- When the computer does not detect a microphone, check the No microphone detected prompt.
- In the dialog, choose the option to join from a phone by scanning.
- Use the WPS Meeting app to scan the QR code shown in the dialog.
- Follow the prompts on the phone to join the current call.
- If you do not use the phone option, you can also switch to a computer with a microphone and start the call again.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The phone recognizes the QR code and enters the join flow.
- Next actions available: You can join the call on the phone and continue voice communication.
