1. Open the Chat Message Settings page
Entry path: Enterprise Admin Console → WPS Collaboration → Chat Message Settings
- Sign in to the WPS 365 admin console.
- Click WPS Collaboration in the enterprise admin console to expand the collaboration management menu.
- Select Chat Message Settings to open the settings page.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The Chat Message Settings page opens.
- Next action available: You can view chat-related configuration items.
Tips While Using
- Permission: Only enterprise admins can open this page.
- Network: If the admin console does not load normally, check your connection and sign-in status first.
2. Turn on the read or unread status marker
Entry path: Chat Message Settings → Show read/unread status markers for chat messages
- Open the Chat Message Settings page.
- Find the setting for showing read or unread status markers for chat messages.
- Turn on the switch on the right.
- After it is enabled, sent messages in group chats and one-to-one chats show read or unread status markers.
- The Webhook bot details page and profile page also add an entry point for the historical message list, which is available only to the bot owner.
- To turn the feature off later, switch it off again on the same page.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The switch is turned on.
- Next action available: Chat messages can show read or unread status, and the added bot history entry point is available where applicable.
Tips While Using
- Scope: This is a centralized setting for both group chats and one-to-one chats, not a per-conversation option.
- Permission: Only the Webhook bot owner can view the historical message list.
