1. Open the chat file management page
Entry path: Enterprise Admin Console → WPS Collaboration → Chat File Management → File Control
- Sign in to the enterprise admin console.
- Click WPS Collaboration in the left navigation pane.

4. Create a new upload control rule
Entry path: Upload Control Rule List → New Rule
- On the rule list page, click New Rule.
- Enter a rule name.
- In the Conditions area, choose a condition type.
- Select File Size or File Format as the condition.
- Enter the specific condition value.
- If you need more than one condition, click Add Condition.

5. Set the control category and upload behavior
Entry path: Rule Editing Page → Control Category → Control Behavior
- In the Control Category area, select Allow or Block.
- In the Control Behavior area, select Upload.
- Check whether the current rule and conditions match your intended policy.

- Interface result: The rule has a clear category and upload behavior.
- Next action available: You can continue to configure the hit message and save the rule.

6. Set the hit message
Entry path: Rule Editing Page → Hit Message
- In the Hit Message area, choose Default Message or Custom Message.
- If you choose Custom Message, enter the message text in the input box.
- Save the rule.
- When a member uploads a file that matches the rule, the configured message is displayed.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The rule includes hit message settings.
- Next action available: Members can see the message when the rule is triggered.
