1. Select a Local Video File

Entry: Message composer → File icon → Send local file

  1. Open a group chat or one-to-one chat.
  2. Click the file icon in the message composer.
  3. Select Send local file from the menu.
  4. In the system file picker, browse to the video you want to send.
  5. Click Open to continue.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the system file picker opens and your local video file is visible.
  • Next action available: after you choose the file, the video preview window opens.

2. Preview and Send

Entry: Send Video preview window → Send

  1. After selecting a video file, wait for the Send Video preview window to appear.

  4. Click Send in the lower-right corner when everything looks correct.
  5. If you do not want to send it yet, click Cancel or close the window.
