FAQ

After I turn off offline avatars, can I still tell who visited the document?

  1. After the setting is turned off, the collaboration interface no longer shows non-active visitors through avatars.
  2. If you need to review visitor activity, an admin can check the related document logs or history records.
  3. Turning off avatar display does not mean visitor records are deleted.

Does this setting apply to all documents?

  1. Yes. This is an organization-level policy.
  2. After you save it, the setting affects all online collaborative documents in the organization.
  3. Individual member display preferences do not override the unified enterprise setting.

Why do I not see the change immediately after switching the setting?

  1. First, confirm that the admin clicked Save.
  2. Then confirm that you are viewing an online collaborative document instead of a local offline file.
  3. If the document was already open before the change, refresh it and check the avatar display again.
