How-to Guide
1. Create a Rich Text Field
Entry: Click the + button on the right side of the table header → open the Field Type list → select Rich Text
- Click the + button on the right side of the table header.
- In the field type list, select Rich Text.
- Enter a field name.
- Click OK to finish creating the field.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A new Rich Text column appears in the table.
- Next action available: You can click a cell in that column to start editing.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you choose another field type instead of Rich Text, rich formatting tools will not be available in that column.
- Environment note: Keep the network stable when the online table is syncing.
2. Enter Rich Text Content
Entry: Open the target cell → click to edit
- Click the target cell to enter rich text editing mode.
- Use the top toolbar to apply text styles such as bold and italic.
- Insert numbered lists, bulleted lists, links, and images as needed.
- Press Enter to add a new line, and press Tab to indent.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The cell shows the formatted text you entered.
- Next action available: You can continue editing text, adjusting styles, or inserting links and images.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the cell is not in editing mode, toolbar formatting will not apply to the current content.
- Environment note: Inserting online images or online resources requires a network connection.
