1. Create a Rich Text Field
Entry: + button on the right side of the table header → Rich Text field
- Open the target smart table.
- Click the + button on the right side of the table header.
- In the field type list, select Rich Text.
- Enter the field name.
- Click OK to finish creating the field.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A new Rich Text field column appears in the table with the field name you set.
- Next action available: You can click a cell in that column and start entering rich text content.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you choose a different field type by mistake, the new column will not support rich text editing.
- Environment note: You need permission to edit fields in the current smart table.
2. Edit Rich Text Content
Entry: target cell → rich text editor opens → enter content
- Click a cell in the Rich Text field to open the rich text editor.
- Enter your text.
- Use the toolbar as needed for text styles such as bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough.
- Set heading levels or create numbered and bulleted lists as needed.
- Insert links, images, or other supported content as needed.
- Click outside the cell to confirm and save the content.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The cell shows the content you entered and keeps the formatting you applied.
- Next action available: You can open the same cell again to continue editing or add more content.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not click outside the cell, the content may still remain in editing mode.
