How-to Guide
1. Create a Rich Text Field
Entry: Click the + button on the right side of the table header → select Rich Text
- Open the target multidimensional table.
- Click the + button on the right side of the table header.
- Select Rich Text from the field type list.
- Enter a field name.
- Click OK to finish.
Success Criteria
- A new rich text field column appears in the table.
- You can start entering content in cells under that field.
Tips While Using
- Use a clear field name such as Project Notes or Detailed Remarks.
- If you do not have edit permission for the table, you may not be able to add a field.
2. Edit Rich Text Content
Entry: Select the target cell → open the rich text editor
- Click the target rich text cell to open the editor.
- Enter your text content.
- Use the toolbar to apply bold, italic, underline, or strikethrough.
- Add heading levels or create ordered and unordered lists as needed.
- Insert links, images, or other supported content when needed.
- Click outside the cell to confirm and save.
Success Criteria
- The cell displays the saved rich text content.
- You can reopen the cell and continue editing the content and formatting.
Tips While Using
- This field type is better for detailed descriptions than for filtering or grouped statistics.
- If you need centralized image management, use the Image and Attachment field instead.
- When you export to Excel or CSV, formatting is not preserved and only plain text remains.
