1. Create a multiple choice field

Entry point: Click the + button on the right side of the header, then choose Multiple Choice

  1. Click the + button on the right side of the table header.
  2. Select Multiple Choice from the field type list.
  3. Enter a field name.
  4. Click OK to finish.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new multiple choice field column appears in the table.
  • Next action available: You can open field settings and continue managing options.

Tips While Using

  • Use a field name that matches the real classification purpose so it is easier to filter and identify later.

2. Add and edit options

Entry point: Right-click the field title, choose Field Settings, then go to the option list area

  1. Right-click the multiple choice field title and select Field Settings.
  2. In the option list area, click + Add Option to add a new option.
  3. Click the square button in front of an option to change its display color.
  4. Continue adding or adjusting option content as needed.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The option list shows the new or updated options.
  • Next action available: These options can be selected directly in cells.

Tips While Using

  • Keep enough color contrast between options so tags are easier to recognize quickly.

3. Bulk edit options

Entry point: Right-click the field title, choose Field Settings, then click Bulk Edit

  1. Right-click the multiple choice field title and select Field Settings.
  2. Click the Bulk Edit button in the option list.
  3. Enter one option name per line, or paste multiple lines into the text box.
  4. Click OK to save.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The system creates multiple options line by line.
  • Next action available: The new options can be used immediately for entry and filtering.

  • Before bulk import, standardize naming to avoid duplicate or near-duplicate tags.

4. Allow new options while filling

Entry point: Right-click the field title, choose Field Settings, then turn on Allow adding options while filling

  1. Right-click the field title and select Field Settings.
  2. Turn on Allow adding options while filling.
  3. Enter content that is not already in the preset options when filling a cell.
  4. Add that content as a new option and continue using it.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: New content can be added to the option list during entry.
  • Next action available: Later records can reuse the newly added option.

Tips While Using

  • If your team needs consistent tag naming, review newly added options regularly and standardize them.
