1. Open the Document Information panel

Entry: Top-left file tab → Document ManagementDocument Information

  1. Open a smart document.
  2. Click the file tab in the top-left corner.
  3. Select Document Management.
  4. Click Document Information.
  5. Confirm that the Access Data and Basic Information tabs are available.

2. Review basic document information

Entry: Document Information panel → Basic Information

  1. Open the Document Information panel.
  2. Switch to the Basic Information tab.
  3. Review the word count, file name, owner, created time, document type, file size, and storage location.

Entry: Document Information panel → Access Data

  1. Open the Document Information panel.
  2. Switch to the Access Data tab.
  3. Review the number of views, viewers, and editors for the current document.
  4. Check cumulative totals and today’s totals as needed.
  5. Click Detailed Records to export detailed access data.
