1. Save a Document
Entry: Top toolbar > Save
- After editing the PDF, tap Save on the top toolbar.
- WPS saves your current changes.
- If this is the first time you save the file, choose a save location such as local storage or cloud documents.
Success Criteria
- The current edits are written to the file.
- After the first save, the document appears in the selected location.
- When you reopen the file, the saved changes are still there.
Tips While Using
- Keep the network connected when saving to cloud documents.
- Before the first save, confirm the target location so the file is easier to find later.
2. Save As a Copy
Entry: Top toolbar > More > Save As
- Tap More on the top toolbar.
- Select Save As.
- Choose a save location and enter a file name.
- Tap Save to finish.
Success Criteria
- A new PDF copy is created.
- The original file stays unchanged.
- The new file is saved with the new name or in the new location.
Tips While Using
- Use a clear file name for the copy, such as one with a date or version note.
- If you need to keep the original file unchanged, use Save As instead of overwriting the current file.
