1. Turn on Auto Reply

Entry point: Mail Settings → Auto Reply

  1. Open WPS Mail.
  2. Click Settings in the upper-right corner.
  3. Switch to the Auto Reply tab.
  4. Turn on the Enable Auto Reply switch.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Auto Reply switch is turned on.
  • What you can do next: You can continue entering the reply content and other settings.

Tips While Using

  • Make sure you are signed in to the mailbox that needs the automatic reply.
  • If the network is unstable, the settings page may load more slowly.

2. Set the reply content and scope

Entry point: Mail Settings → Auto Reply

  1. Enter your reply message in the Auto Reply content box.
  2. Choose the reply scope as needed.
  3. Check whether the message includes your current status, expected return time, or an alternate contact.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The reply content appears in the editing area.
  • What you can do next: You can continue to set the time range and save.

Tips While Using

  • Keep the reply message clear and concise so senders can understand your status quickly.
  • If the feature supports rich text or HTML content in your current environment, you can format the message accordingly.

3. Set the active time and save

Entry point: Mail Settings → Auto Reply

  1. If you want a limited active period, select the time setting option.
  2. Enter the start and end dates for Auto Reply.
  3. Click Confirm to save the settings.
  4. Return to the settings page and check whether the Auto Reply status has updated.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The settings are saved and Auto Reply remains enabled.
  • What you can do next: Incoming emails can receive automatic replies during the active period.

Tips While Using

  • If you do not set a time range, remember to turn Auto Reply off manually when you no longer need it.
  • Check the date range again before saving to avoid an unintended active period.
