1. View collaboration records

Entry: File Actions → History → Collaboration Records

  1. Open the target cloud document.
  2. Click File Actions in the upper-left area.
  3. Select HistoryCollaboration Records.
  4. Review the collaboration record list in the right-side panel.
  5. Confirm that each record shows the action time, collaborator avatar and name, action type, and content summary.

Success Criteria

  • The collaboration records panel appears on the right side.
  • Recent collaboration actions are visible in the list.
  • Each record includes time, editor information, and a content summary.

Tips While Using

  • This feature works when the document is in collaboration mode.
  • Only actions from collaborators with editing permission are recorded.
  • Only the latest 1000 records are kept.

2. Filter collaboration records

Entry: Collaboration Records → Filter

  1. In the collaboration records panel, click Filter.
  2. Select a time range.
  3. Select the collaborator you want to review.
  4. Select an action type such as edit, delete, or insert.
  5. Review the filtered results.

Success Criteria

  • Only records that match the selected conditions remain visible.
  • You can narrow the list by time, collaborator, or action type.
  • The filtered results help you investigate a specific change more quickly.

Tips While Using

  • If you apply too many conditions, the result may be empty.
  • Start with a time range, then add more filters step by step.

3. Use version history to review more detailed differences

Entry: File Actions → History

  1. If the collaboration record summary is not enough, return to the History entry.
  2. Open the version history list.
  3. Select the version you want to review.
  4. Compare the current content with the selected version to confirm the exact change.

Success Criteria

  • A previous version is open for review.
  • You can confirm more detailed content changes.
  • The record summary can be matched with version-level changes.

Tips While Using

  • Collaboration records are useful for locating edit clues quickly.
  • Use version history together with collaboration records when you need fuller change details.

Entry: Collaboration Records panel → View Details → Restore Record

  1. Find the target record in the collaboration records panel.
  2. Click View Details.
  3. Select Restore Record.
  4. Confirm that the document content returns to the related historical state.

Success Criteria

  • The detail view for the target record opens successfully.
  • The document returns to the related earlier state after the restore action.
  • You can continue editing or review the restored result.

Tips While Using

  • Check whether the current content still needs to be kept before restoring.
  • If multiple people are editing the document, confirm with collaborators before restoring content.
