FAQ
Can someone still see the document after I remove them as a collaborator?
- Open the document sharing settings.
- Check whether the current link permission still allows anyone to view or edit.
- If needed, change the link permission to a more restricted scope.
- Confirm again that the target member has been removed from the collaborator list.
Why can’t I see the Manage Collaborators entry?
- Confirm that the current file supports online collaboration.
- Check that you are signed in to your WPS account and connected to the internet.
- Confirm that you have document owner or admin permission.
- If the entry still does not appear, update WPS Office and try again.
When does a permission change take effect?
- Change the permission in the collaborator list.
- Wait for the interface to refresh the member’s permission status.
- In most cases, the change takes effect right away.
- If the other person still sees the old permission, ask them to reopen the document and check again.
