FAQ

Why can’t I see the Manage Collaborators entry?

  1. Make sure the file is a cloud document instead of a local-only file.
  2. Make sure you are signed in to your WPS account and connected to the internet.
  3. Check whether you are the document owner or an admin, because regular collaborators may not see the management entry.

Can someone still access the document after I remove them?

  1. First confirm that the person has been removed from the collaborator list.
  2. Check whether the document still has a public or broader link-sharing setting.
  3. If you want to fully restrict access, also change the link-sharing scope so only intended members can open it.

Why do permission changes take effect immediately?

  1. Permission updates in Manage Collaborators normally apply right away.
  2. Ask the other person to reopen the document and confirm the current access state.
  3. If the panel does not refresh, close it and open Manage Collaborators again to check the latest status.
