Why can someone still access the document after I remove them as a collaborator?

  1. Check whether the current link settings still allow broader link-based access.
  2. If the link is still open to a wider audience, that person may still enter through the original link.
  3. Change the link access scope to a stricter setting and then test access again.

Do advanced permission settings apply to every sharing method?
