How-to Guide

1. Add a Field Visibility Policy

Feature entry: Management Console → Enterprise Security Control → Field Visibility → Add Policy

  1. Open the WPS365 client, and click Management Console in the lower-left area of the home page.
  2. In the left panel, click Security Control to expand the menu.
  3. Click Data Protection, then click Field Visibility.
  4. Click Add Policy to start configuring a field visibility policy.
  5. Enter a Policy Name.
  6. In Select Sensitive Member Scope, choose whether the policy applies to all members or selected members.
  7. In Select Fields to Hide, choose the employee information fields to hide, such as phone number, email, or job title.
  8. In Whitelist, select the members who can still view the hidden fields, such as direct supervisors, department heads, or selected members.
  9. Click Save to create the policy.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The new policy appears in the Field Visibility list.
  • Next action available: You can continue to enable, disable, delete, or verify permissions for the policy.

Tips While Using

  • This feature requires an enterprise plan.
  • Before saving, confirm that the sensitive member scope, hidden fields, and whitelist settings are correct.
  • Access to the management console requires the appropriate admin permissions.

2. Manage Field Visibility Policies

Feature entry: Field Visibility policy page

  1. Open the Field Visibility policy page.
  2. Use options such as Updated By and Effective Status to filter the policies you want to manage.
  3. Select the target policy, then click the management options in the upper-right area.
  4. Choose the action you need: Delete, Enable, Disable, or Verify Permissions.
  5. Return to the policy list and confirm the updated status or verification result.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The target policy status or list content is updated.
  • Next action available: You can continue filtering other policies or verify permissions again.

Tips While Using

  • This feature requires an enterprise plan.
  • Before deleting a policy, confirm that it no longer needs to remain active.
