1. Add a Word Cloud component to a dashboard

Entry point: Dashboard page → "+ Add Component" → Chart → "Word Cloud"

  1. Open the AirSheet dashboard page.
  2. Click "+ Add Component" in the upper-left area.
  3. In the component panel, find "Word Cloud" under the Chart category.
  4. Click "Word Cloud" to insert a default component.
  5. Select the component to enter editing mode and continue with data setup.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: A new Word Cloud component appears in the dashboard.
  • Next actions: You can open the editing panel and continue to configure data and style.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: If you are not on the dashboard page, you may not see the "+ Add Component" entry.
  • Environment limits: Prepare a data table with text content before you start.

2. Edit or export a Word Cloud chart

Entry point: Select an existing chart → top-right "..." menu

  1. Select the Word Cloud chart that has already been added to the dashboard.
  2. Click the "..." icon in the top-right corner of the chart.
  3. Choose the action you need: Configure, Copy, Copy as Image, Export as Image, or Delete.
  4. If you want to continue editing, select Configure to return to the settings panel.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: The top-right menu opens and shows the available actions.
  • Next actions: You can duplicate, export, or reconfigure the chart.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: If the chart is not selected first, the menu can be easy to miss.
  • Environment limits: Before you copy or export as an image, wait for the chart preview to finish loading.

3. Set type and data

Entry point: Word Cloud editing panel → "Type and Data"

  1. Open the Word Cloud editing panel and switch to the "Type and Data" tab.
  2. Select the data source you want to use.
  3. Set Data Filter if you need to narrow the data range.
  4. Choose the keyword field for the word cloud.
  5. Set the counting method and display count.
  6. Review the frequency table and the preview pane on the left.
  7. Click Confirm to apply the settings.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: The Word Cloud preview changes as you update the settings.
  • Next actions: You can continue to style settings or return to the dashboard to review the result.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: If the keyword field is not an appropriate text field, the result may not match your expectation.
  • Environment limits: The selected data source should contain text content that can be counted.

4. Adjust chart style

Entry point: Word Cloud editing panel → "Chart Style"

  1. Open the Word Cloud editing panel and switch to the "Chart Style" tab.
  2. Choose a theme color that fits your dashboard.
  3. Switch between available word cloud shapes.
  4. Check the preview pane on the left.
  5. Click Confirm to save the style settings.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: The chart color or shape changes in the preview and saved result.
  • Next actions: You can return to the dashboard or edit the chart again.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: If you change the style but do not click Confirm, the update will not be applied.
  • Environment limits: Visual results can vary depending on the amount of data.
