1. View Collaboration History

Entry path: File → History → Collaboration History

  1. Open a smart document.
  2. Click the File tab at the top left.
  3. Click HistoryCollaboration History.
  4. Expand the Collaboration History panel to review collaborator edits.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Collaboration History panel appears on the right side or in the related area.
  • Next action available: You can click any record to inspect the related content.

Tips While Using

  • Permission requirement: Only users with edit permission can view it.
  • Network status: Keep the network connected when history records need to sync.
  • Display order: Collaboration records are shown in time order.

2. Restore Collaboration Content

Entry path: Collaboration History panel → View Details → Restore Content

  1. In the Collaboration History panel, click any collaboration record.
  2. If the related content is still in the document, WPS locates that content.
  3. Review the highlighted change location.
  4. Click View Details.
  5. Click Restore Content.
  6. Restore that content back into the document.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The target content is located and highlighted.
  • Next action available: The detail view provides the restore action.
  • Result confirmation: The restored content appears in the document again.

Tips While Using

  • If the content tied to the record is no longer in the current document, direct locating may not work.
  • Before restoring, confirm the current document content to avoid affecting content that is being edited.
