1. View Collaboration History

Entry path:

  • Option 1: Top Collaboration tab → HistoryCollaboration History
  • Option 2: Top-left File menu → HistoryCollaboration History
  1. Open the collaborative spreadsheet that you want to review.
  2. Click the Collaboration tab at the top.
  3. Click History on the toolbar.
  4. Select Collaboration History from the drop-down menu.
  5. Review the collaboration history list in the right-side panel, sorted in reverse chronological order.
  6. Check the editor, action type, and action time for each record.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Collaboration History panel appears on the right side.
  • Next action: You can click a record or continue filtering the list.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the file is not a collaborative spreadsheet, the Collaboration History entry may not appear.
  • Environment note: Record loading depends on online collaboration status and network connectivity.

2. Use the Collaboration History Filter

Entry path: Right-side Collaboration History panel → Filter

  1. Open the Collaboration History panel first.
  2. Find Filter at the top of the panel.
  3. Filter by editor to review one person’s actions.
  4. Filter by action type, such as editing, commenting, or sharing.
  5. Filter by time range to review records from a specific period.
  6. Combine multiple conditions to narrow the results further.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The record list updates based on the selected filter conditions.
  • Next action: You can open a filtered record to review details or locate content.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If too many filters are applied, the result may be empty. Clear conditions one by one and try again.

3. Restore Collaboration Content

Entry path: Collaboration History panel → click a record → View DetailsContent Restore

  1. Open the Collaboration History panel on the right.
  2. Click any collaboration record.
  3. If the related content still exists in the file, WPS locates it and highlights it.
  4. Review the changed location and confirm whether you want to restore it.
  5. Click View Details.
  6. Select Content Restore to restore that content to the spreadsheet.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The spreadsheet shows the located or restored content.
  • Next action: You can continue checking other records or keep editing the spreadsheet.
