1. Share your screen or a window
Entry: Meeting interface bottom toolbar → Share
- Join the meeting and click Share on the bottom toolbar.
- In the sharing panel, choose Desktop or Application Window.
- Turn Share computer audio on or off as needed.
- Turn the higher sharing frame rate option on or off as needed.
- Click OK to start sharing.
- When you finish, click Stop Sharing on the floating toolbar.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Participants can see the desktop or application window that you selected.
- Next action available: After sharing starts, you can still annotate or stop sharing from the floating toolbar.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you want better privacy, choose an application window instead of the full desktop.
- Environment note: Before sharing computer audio, make sure the audio is actually playing on your device.
2. Add annotations
Entry: Floating toolbar during screen sharing → Annotation options
- Start screen sharing first.
- On the top floating toolbar, click Annotation Options.
- Choose the tool you need: Mouse, Pen, Highlighter, Eraser, or Clear.
- Mark or explain content directly on the shared screen.
- Switch back to Mouse for normal control, or click Clear to remove annotations.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected annotation effect appears on the shared content.
- Next action available: You can switch tools, continue presenting, or return to normal pointer control.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Make sure screen sharing is already active before looking for annotation controls.
- Environment note: Annotations are intended for live explanation during the current sharing session.
