1. Add Speaker Notes from the Bottom Status Bar
Entry: Bottom status bar → Notes
- Open the presentation that you want to edit.
- Click the Notes button on the bottom status bar.
- In the notes area below the slide, click Click here to add notes.
- Enter the speaker notes for the current slide.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: An editable notes area appears below the current slide.
- Next action available: You can continue typing, revising, or switching to other slides to add more notes.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the notes area does not appear, first confirm that you clicked the Notes button on the bottom bar.
2. Enter Notes in the Normal View Notes Area
Entry: Notes area below the slide in Normal view
- In Normal view, select the slide that needs notes.
- Locate the notes area below the slide.
- Click Click here to add notes.
- Type your speaking prompts, talking points, or supporting details.

- Interface result: The note text appears in the notes area for the current slide.
- Next action available: After switching slides, you can maintain notes separately for each slide.

3. Edit Notes in Notes Page View
Entry: View → Notes Page
- Open the presentation and click the View tab.
- Click Notes Page.
- After entering Notes Page view, locate the notes content area.
- Edit the notes for the current slide.

- Interface result: The page switches to Notes Page view and shows the slide with its note layout.
- Next action available: You can continue adjusting note content for review or printing.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Notes Page is more suitable for checking layout and preparing printed notes. After editing, you can switch back to Normal view to continue slide work.
4. Open Speaker Notes from the Slide Show Tab
Entry: Slide Show → Speaker Notes
- Click the Slide Show tab.
- Find and click Speaker Notes.
- In the related panel or dialog that opens, view or edit the note content.
