1. Turn Print Row and Column Headings on or off

Entry: Page tab → Print Row and Column Headings

  1. Open the worksheet that you want to print in WPS Spreadsheet.
  2. Click the Page tab at the top of the window.
  3. Select the Print Row and Column Headings checkbox.
  4. To turn the setting off, clear the same checkbox again.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Print Row and Column Headings option has been switched successfully.
  • Next step: You can open Print Preview to confirm the output.

Tips While Using

  • This setting affects printed output and does not change the normal worksheet editing view.
  • Row and column headings take up some page margin space.

2. Check the result in Print Preview

Entry: Quick Access Toolbar or Ctrl + Alt + P → Print Preview

  1. After enabling Print Row and Column Headings, click the Print Preview entry on the Quick Access Toolbar, or press Ctrl + Alt + P.
  2. Open the Print Preview window.
  3. Check whether row numbers appear on the left and column letters appear at the top.
  4. Confirm the result and then print the worksheet.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Row and column headings are visible within the print preview area.
  • Next step: You can print directly or return to adjust page settings.

Tips While Using

  • If the headings do not appear, go back and confirm that Print Row and Column Headings is selected.
  • This setting applies to the full print area rather than only part of it.
