Why can I see row and column headings in the worksheet, but not in the printed result?

  1. Open the target worksheet.
  2. Click the Page tab and confirm that Print Row and Column Headings is selected.
  3. Open Print Preview and check whether the headings appear on the left and at the top of the page.

What should I do if the printed row and column headings are not in the position I expected?

  1. Note that this feature places headings at the left side and top of the page.
  2. Their position cannot be dragged or customized separately.
  3. If the layout feels crowded, adjust margins, scaling, or page orientation and preview again.

Can I print row and column headings for only part of the print area?

  1. This feature applies to the full print area.
  2. It cannot be enabled only for a partial area.
  3. If you need a smaller output scope, adjust the print area first and then print.
