Why can I see row and column headings in the worksheet, but not in the printed result?
- Open the target worksheet.
- Click the Page tab and confirm that Print Row and Column Headings is selected.
- Open Print Preview and check whether the headings appear on the left and at the top of the page.
What should I do if the printed row and column headings are not in the position I expected?
- Note that this feature places headings at the left side and top of the page.
- Their position cannot be dragged or customized separately.
- If the layout feels crowded, adjust margins, scaling, or page orientation and preview again.
Can I print row and column headings for only part of the print area?
- This feature applies to the full print area.
- It cannot be enabled only for a partial area.
- If you need a smaller output scope, adjust the print area first and then print.
