1. Open General Settings

- Select Top or Bottom.
- Open a message with attachments and check the placement.

5. Set What Opens After Moving or Deleting a Message
Entry path: General Settings → After moving or deleting the message being viewed
- Open General Settings.
- Find the option for behavior after moving or deleting a message.
- Select Open next message, Open previous message, or Return to message list.
- Move or delete a message once to verify the result.

- Interface result: After the action, the interface follows the selected navigation behavior.

- Common mistake: Choose the option that matches your usual cleanup workflow so you do not need to switch it repeatedly.
6. Choose How External Images Are Displayed
Entry path: General Settings → External image display
- Open General Settings.
- Find External image display.
- Select Ask before showing or Always show automatically.
- Open a message that contains external images and check the loading behavior.

- Interface result: External images are shown or prompted according to the selected rule.

7. Set Read Receipts and Translation Language
Entry path: General Settings → Read receipts / Translate content to
- Open General Settings.
- Under Read receipts, select Ask me before sending, Always send, or Never send.
- Under Translate content to, choose the target language you want.
- Save the change and continue reading or processing messages.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The read receipt policy and translation language are updated.
- What you can do next: Future related messages follow the current settings.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you are not sure which receipt policy to use, start with Ask me before sending.
8. Enable Offline Mail
Entry path: General Settings → Offline mail
- Open General Settings.
- Find Offline mail.
- Turn the feature on.
- Wait for the app to cache messages from the most recent 14 days.
- Open mail without a network connection and check whether recent messages are available.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Offline mail is enabled.
- What you can do next: You can view cached recent messages without a network connection.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: The first cache may take some time to complete, so it is better to enable it while the network is stable.
