Why does the note appear at the end of the document after I insert an endnote?
- Endnotes are designed to appear at the end of the document or at the end of a section.
- If you want to change the display location, open the Footnotes and Endnotes dialog.
- Select the location you want for endnotes and apply the setting.
How do I show endnotes by section?
- Click the References tab.
- Open the Footnotes and Endnotes dialog.
- Set the endnote location to End of section, then click Apply.
