Why is the building block list empty?

  1. Confirm that reusable building block content has already been created and saved.
  2. Check whether the correct building block source is selected in the control properties.
  3. If the source still has no saved content, save a document part first and then return to the control.

How do I add a new building block?

  1. Select the content that you want to reuse.
  2. Open Insert → Document Parts.
  3. Select Save Selection to Document Part Gallery, then return to the control and use it there.

Why can't I find the Content Control for Building Blocks entry?

  1. Confirm that the document is open in WPS Writer.
  2. Check whether the Developer tab is visible.
  3. Enable Design Mode, then check whether the control button is available.
