Entry: Share → Link Permissions

  1. Open the document and click Share in the upper-right corner.
  2. Turn on View/Edit with others.
  3. Click Link Permissions.
  4. In the Link Permissions panel, choose who can open the link, such as everyone or specific people.
  5. Set the permission level to Edit, View and Comment, or View.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the sharing panel shows the current link permission settings.
  • Next action available: you can continue copying the link or return to the document.
  • No unwanted effect: the access rules can be updated without creating a new link.
