| No. | Topic | Membership Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1. Add collaborators from contacts | Free |
| 2 | 2. Add collaborators by link | Free |
How-to Guide
1. Add collaborators from contacts
Entry: Share → Add Collaborators → Choose from Contacts
- Open the document and click Share at the top right.
- Click Add Collaborators.
- Select Choose from Contacts.
- Search or browse your contacts and select the people you want to invite.
- Set permissions for each person as Can Edit or View Only.
- Click OK to send the invitation.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the selected people appear in the collaborator list.
- What you can do next: you can continue adjusting permissions or add more collaborators.
- No side effect: sending the invitation does not change the document content automatically.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: sending the invitation before checking the permission level may give someone broader access than intended.
- Environment note: if you are not signed in or the document is not in collaboration mode, the sharing flow may not complete normally.
2. Add collaborators by link
Entry: Share → Copy Link
- Open the document and click Share at the top right.
- Set the link permission first.
- Click Copy Link.
- Send the link to teammates or other collaborators.
- Recipients can open the document according to the assigned permission.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the link is copied successfully.
- What you can do next: you can paste the link into email, chat, or another notification channel.
- No side effect: copying the link does not change the existing document content.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if you copy the link before setting permissions, you may need to adjust the permission and send the link again.
- Environment note: recipients need internet access to open the shared link, and their access depends on the current permission setting.
