1. Open System Settings

Entry path: WPS Cloud page → Settings icon → System Settings

  1. Open WPS Cloud.
  2. Click the Settings icon in the lower-left corner.
  3. Select System Settings in the left panel.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The System Settings option is visible and the corresponding page opens.
  • What you can do next: You can continue to adjust tray behavior, startup options, file context menu items, and alert settings.

  • Open the WPS Cloud page first, then enter System Settings from the Settings icon.

2. Choose what opens when you click the system tray icon

  1. Open the System Settings page.
  2. Find the Clicking the system tray icon opens section near the top of the page.
  3. Select WPS Cloud - Transfer List or Transfer Assistant.
  4. The tray icon will open the selected destination the next time you click it.

  • Choose WPS Cloud - Transfer List if you usually want the main cloud window.

3. Configure WPS Cloud startup settings

  1. Open the System Settings page.
  2. Find the Startup section.
  3. Turn Run automatically at startup on or off as needed.
  4. Turn Run when WPS Office starts on or off as needed.

  • Turn off Run automatically at startup if you want fewer background apps after sign-in.

4. Configure file context menu items

Entry path: System Settings → File context menu

  1. Open the System Settings page.
  2. Find the File context menu section.
  3. Turn Show “Upload or sync to WPS” on or off as needed.
  4. Turn Show “Send via WPS” on or off as needed.

  • Turn off items you do not use often if you want a cleaner right-click menu.

5. Configure alert settings

Entry path: System Settings → Alerts

  1. Open the System Settings page.
  2. Find the alert-related switches in the Alerts section.
  3. Turn on or off Remind me when synced folders and cloud files are deleted on other devices as needed.
  4. Turn on or off Remind me when local actions cause files to be deleted from the cloud and other devices as needed.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The alert switch status is updated.
  • What you can do next: Future deletion events will follow the current alert settings.

  • Keep deletion alerts on if you sync files across multiple devices.
